Why Kids Academy

  • Holistic approach: We integrate academics, athletics, and mental health to develop the whole youth.

  • Proven structure: Discipline and team-based learning create a resilient, accountable environment.

  • Experienced leadership: Founded by former NFL athlete Draylen Ross, bringing elite athletic insight with a commitment to youth development.

  • Who we serve: Youth ages 8–12 in Fort Worth, Texas — tailored programs to meet each stage of growth.

  • "As a parent, structure is everything. The Unique Scholars Institute provides structure without crushing confidence. My child’s grades improved because someone was monitoring progress. Homework was reinforced. Expectations were clear. But what impressed me most was the character development. Discipline here isn’t harsh — it’s consistent. My child is more responsible, more respectful, and more focused than ever before."

    Parent Testimonial

  • "As an instructor, I appreciate the clarity of expectations here. We don’t just tutor — we build literacy foundations. We monitor report cards. We intervene early. We communicate with families. The Institute doesn’t tolerate academic neglect, but it also doesn’t shame students. It builds them. Watching a struggling reader become confident is one of the most rewarding experiences of my career."

    Instructor Testimonial

  • "The Beyond Breakfast Foundation changed my life. We journal every week. At first, I thought it was just writing. But it became something deeper. I started understanding my emotions. I started recognizing my triggers. I learned how to pause instead of react. The group discussions helped me realize I’m not alone in what I feel. I’m stronger now — not just physically, but mentally."
